Since the beginning of the 10th Five-Year Plan, the university has established multi-directional and deep-level cooperative relationships in science and education with 50 counties (cities, districts, bureaus, farms) within the province. By means of making development plans, organizing training courses, bringing experts to fields and funding for libraries, the university tries its best to provide comprehensive science and technology help for the new rural construction. Besides, we have organized projects such as “Deliver Technology to Rural Areas”, “County and Village Cadres Training Plan”, “Farmers Training Program” and “College Students in Every Village”, which provide a solid basis of talents for the economic and social development of Heilongjiang Province. During the 8th Five-Year Plan, we brought a social economic benefit of RMB 6.68 billion; during the 9th Five-Year Plan, RMB 9.6 billion and during the 10th Five-Year Plan, RMB 15.2 billion. All of these have made positive contributions to enrich the people of Heilongjiang, strengthen the province and comprehensively construct a well-off society.
